Vital Harmony: A Wellness Programme for Lasting Balance
Vital Harmony is a homeopathic wellness programme created by Carole Sanders RSHom at Blackmore Vale Clinic of Homeopathy for people who are ready to move beyond temporary fixes. It brings together classical homeopathy, whole-person understanding and a personalised support plan, so you can explore what your body may be trying to express and what needs to change for greater balance to become possible. Everything is offered online, by Zoom or telephone, for people in the UK, Canada and the United States.
What Is Vital Harmony?
Vital Harmony is the homeopathic wellness programme I have been developing at Blackmore Vale Clinic of Homeopathy. I introduced it in my August 2026 newsletter under its full title, Vital Harmony: A Homeopathic Wellness Programme for Lasting Balance. It is for people who want to look at their health in a deeper, more connected way.
Vital Harmony rests on three things:
Through these three elements, Vital Harmony offers a gentle way to explore three questions:
What may my body be trying to express?
What may be keeping old patterns in place?
What needs to change so that greater balance can become possible?

Vital Harmony is a homeopathic wellness programme that combines classical homeopathy, whole-person understanding and a personalised support plan for lasting balance.
Why Did I Create Vital Harmony?
I did not begin my working life in health. I trained as an accountant. Then, in the late 1980s, I fell ill, and that illness changed the direction of my life. I discovered the healing power of homeopathy and decided to dedicate myself to it.
I trained at the London College of Classical Homoeopathy and graduated in 1993. I have practised full-time ever since, and over the years I have helped hundreds of people. I have also built up experience in counselling, mentoring and mindfulness meditation, which shapes the way I work.
What I learned is that health is more than the absence of illness. To me it is a state of wellbeing, calm and freedom. I have supported people across England and internationally, and the same thing keeps showing me what matters: small, sustainable changes create lasting results.
Vital Harmony grew from that belief. My mission is to promote a positive image of homeopathy and to inspire trust in it. I also believe that life is too short to suffer, and that homeopathy offers you a choice.
Carole Sanders created Vital Harmony from more than 30 years of homeopathic practice and a lasting belief that true health is balance, resilience and peace of mind.
How Does Classical Homeopathy Sit at the Heart of Vital Harmony?
Classical homeopathy means practising according to the original tradition of homeopathy. Its principle is to treat the individual rather than the disease. Two people can arrive at Blackmore Vale Clinic of Homeopathy with the same complaint and leave with different remedies, because each of them has a different story, temperament and way of experiencing their symptoms.
I describe my approach as gentle but tough. Homeopathy itself is gentle. The process can be demanding, and the results are rewarding and long-lasting, reaching the essence of who you are.
I also see homeopathy as both a science and an art:
If you would like to read further, my website has pages on homeopathy in a nutshell, more about homeopathy, remedies and Bach flower remedies.
What does it mean to be listened to deeply?
A classical homeopath is trained to "listen deeply." An experienced homeopath hears far more than just the words. That means listening not only to what you say, but to what lies behind the words: how you express them as you say them, and how your body expresses them.
Online consultations tend to enhance this, because there are no other distractions. There is no waiting room and no noise, only the two of us and your story.
This kind of listening is why the consultation matters so much. Most patients find that the consultation is a great healer in itself. There is usually a moment when you realise what really hurts, deep down inside. Your pain has been acknowledged and recognised, and that is where healing begins.
Patients often say things like:
"You really made me think about me and what I really mean when I say that."
"I didn't put two and two together until I realised it all started when my father died."
Some patients tell me they changed their lives after being treated homeopathically. They feel liberated and free to make their own healthy choices, no longer held back by limiting situations such as a job or a relationship. You can read more in patients' stories on my website.
Deep listening, which means hearing the words, the way they are expressed and what the body says, is the foundation of every consultation at Blackmore Vale Clinic of Homeopathy.
What Happens in a First Homeopathic Consultation?
Your first consultation with me takes approximately one and a half hours. I think of it as an intimate conversation with boundaries. I want to know all about you, and everything you say has value.
A first consultation usually goes like this:
You tell your story. You share what is happening, when it began and how it affects your life. I listen, and I listen to how you tell it.
I ask questions, and sometimes guide you in a certain direction. This helps me understand more so that I can prescribe the best possible homeopathic remedy for you.
We explore your reactions. I may ask about your likes and dislikes, and your recurring dreams are always important too.
I build a comprehensive picture of you. Some of my questions may seem odd, but each one helps me match your symptoms and your whole self to a remedy.
Everything is handled with full respect for your privacy, dignity and individual needs. You can find the details on my page about your homeopathic consultation.
Whom Does My Experience Cover?
I work with people of all ages, from babies and children to adolescents and adults. My approach is gentle and holistic, and it focuses on you as a whole rather than on your symptoms alone. These are the areas where I have most experience:
Homeopathy is a complementary approach. For new or serious symptoms, please speak to your GP as well.
What Other Support Sits Alongside Homeopathy?
Alongside homeopathy, I offer other forms of support for emotional and mental wellbeing:
If one of these interests you, mention it when you get in touch.
Can I Really Do This Online?
Yes. Blackmore Vale Clinic of Homeopathy works entirely online. Appointments are available by telephone or Zoom, with Zoom preferred, and I see people throughout the UK, Canada and the United States.
I do miss seeing patients in real life. But online now feels normal to me, and I value the freedom and connection it offers. Distance does not mean disconnection.
If you would like to prepare for a first appointment, these steps follow the questions I usually ask:
Choose a quiet space. Pick somewhere you will not be interrupted, so that nothing distracts from the listening.
Think about when things began. Many people find that a symptom started around a particular event, and the link becomes clear only when they say it aloud.
Notice your likes and dislikes. What you enjoy, what you avoid and how you react to things all help me understand you.
Remember your recurring dreams. I always find them important.
Arrive as you are. You do not need to organise your story first. Everything you say matters.
